Battery World Aussie Racing cars Super Series leader Joel Heinrich scores pole on the GC

Joel Heinrich has asserted his position at the top of the standings and the timesheets by scoring pole position for the final round of the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series on the Gold Coast.

The Osborn’s Transport driver secured pole by 0.713s from Guardian Interlock Services’ Reece Chapman in a return to form after a season riddled with bad luck.

MTA NSW’s Kody Garland is third not harming his title pursuit, with Rookie Cup leader Mason Harvey alongside in his Corish Motorsports entry.

The third of the title contenders, Western Sydney motorsport’s Cody Brewczynski will start from fifth alongside Josh Thomas for TFH Hire Services in one of his best performances for the season.

Courtney Prince qualified seventh for Corish Motorsports alongside returnee Anthony DiMauro in the Koan Solutions entry, while Diesel Express’ Kyle Ensbey and Jordan Freestone rounded out the top 10.

Harvey once again led teammate Freestone and Diesel Thomas in the Rookie Cup.

Masters Cup was decided by Kent Quinn for Norganic Proteins as Western Sydney Motorsport’s Craig Thompson and the MSS Group entry of Scott O’Keefe.

An incident for Ryan Reynolds has forced him out of the weekend.

Matt Gooding for Property Compliance Australia was leader in Gold Cup from Action Line Marking’s Scott Dornan and Fight MND driver Scott Watters.
