Reigning Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series winner Joel Heinrich has led the way, but title contenders Kody Garland and Cody Brewczynski are not far behind.
Heinrich sent the Osborn’s Transport around the streets of the Gold Coast in a 1m 22.835s to head key title rival Garland by 0.232s as Guardian Interlock Services driver Reece Chapman rounded out the top three on a 1m 23.474s.
Impressive rookie Mason Harvey of Corish Motorsports was fourth from Western Sydney Motorsport’s Brewczynski and Riskie Racing driver Scott Andriske.
